Nuzlocke of April-063

I feel like I must come off as a total sadist when I draw injuries in these comics. The problem is I don't like to put any blows 'off screen' and I also try to be realistic within the terms of my imagination and the situation (in this case going from green to red in a single hit). A budew is a cross between a plant and a baby, and a cranidos is a cross between a rock and a dinosaur. The mental image I had of them colliding was something like tossing a head of lettuce at a speeding car (incidentally, the brown 'blood' was inspired by the color of this kind of brown slime that I sometimes find on rotting lettuce.) Anyway, IT JUST CAN'T END WELL. But believe me when I say I creep myself out drawing pages like this. (Though the 'total sadist' thing is still up for debate.)
